A History of Blood – Vol. 3, Chapter 21

While my last article highlighted some of the personal growth I’ve experienced in the last few months, this article will highlight some of the professional growth over the last few weeks.

I’ve started working on a few new promotional branding campaigns and it’s been quite the challenge, especially with this campaign being so much different than anything else I’ve done. Most of my career I’ve worked either retail or residential campaigns, and this is the first real commercial campaign that I’ve worked.

The hard part is finding the emotional plot points that illustrate the pleasures of having our products and the pain of not having them, without going into detail of the specific company, outside of a sales setting. In short, the only people who know what companies I work with are the people whom I meet face to face.

That being said, I don’t have to hide that the new campaign I’m working on is in online banking, a financial service I can sell that doesn’t require an insurance license. Our online banking platform has the following benefits.

  1. Getting paid faster -> useful for Bills or Shopping
  2. Cash Advance -> useful for Bills or Shopping
  3. Building Credit -> useful for Buying a House or Car
  4. Savings -> useful for emergency or Retirement
  5. Fee-Free -> helps you stay more organized
  6. Day off or Vacation -> spend the welcome bonus

In addition to all of the above, it allows me to recruit and train unlicensed agents, while giving them a way to make money on a full time or part time basis.

In addition to providing the above benefits, adding an online banking platform to my portfolio solves the following problems:

  1. Extra $200 for bills/vacation/gifts
  2. Extra bank account
  3. Early payday
  4. Borrow money (refer your friends)
  5. Simplified Credit Products
  6. Afford a little self care, a day off, or a date night.

“I used the $200 on a date night: I bought her a Red Bull, snacks, alcohol, candles, flowers, put some gas in her car and I got us both a hotel room, where we could talk and watch movies and TV in private”

I originally started using online banking platforms back in 2020 and started referring people in 2022. I mostly used the referral program as a way to open a bank account for my insurance clients, but now we’ve created a B2B campaign focused on retail workers and staff.

The $200 welcome bonus means that most retail workers are getting a bonus equivalent to a day’s worth of pay. They probably plan on getting rid of the $200 bonus but I’ll enjoy it while it lasts.
